Purpose of the Programme: 

The purpose of this programme is to equip the learners with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to focus on specific areas in any supervisory role. This is across various sectors and industries. The programme introduces key terms, rules, concepts, principles and practices of management, that will enable learners to be informed supervisors in any field.

Programme Outcomes: 

On completion of this programme learners will be able to:

Learning Assumed to be in Place: 

It is assumed that learners entering this programme are competent in:

  1. Communication at NQF Level 3
  2. Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 3
  3. Computer Literacy at NQF Level 3
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): 

RPL against these unit standards are allowed. Application forms are available from our offices.


OPTION 1 (Online training via the blended learning approach):

Learning Journey and Duration: 10 Hours contact session time, spread over 5 days and 55 days for preparation of assessment. Learners will have access to the Learning Management System (LMS) for 60 days and this will include the Summative Assessment.  

OPTION 2 (Group bookings for onsite training – minimum of 10 delegates):

Learning Journey and Duration: 5 Days of classroom training.

Assessment Details: Portfolio of Evidence will be submitted within eight weeks of completing the training. Assessment activities include demonstration of competence in terms of the exit level outcomes, which in turn are a function of the associated unit standards. Candidates will be assessed in an integrative manner per exit level outcome. Assessment evidence will be uploaded on the Learning Management System (LMS) platform, via a suitable medium, as per assessment guide.

Certification: This includes obtaining endorsement from the SETQAA.
